LESSONS
Throughout my twenty-six years of playing music, I've had the pleasure of taking drum lessons in a variety of different environments. There have been private lessons, group lessons, and every time I take the stage it feels like "class is in session." After all these years, I'm still inspired to create and improve my playing ability on a daily basis. You can never run out of material to work on. The art of mastering an instrument is a lifetime pursuit, and that's very appealing to me. With my drum lessons I try to instill this knowledge from day one so my students can possess the right attitude for learning. In an age where instant gratification can rule the day; I want to remind students that to become accomplished at anything you will need to have focus, discipline, and be patient with the process. Yes, I even try to convey this to my youngest students. It's never too early to start molding a mind.

WHAT ARE STUDENTS SAYING?
"Right from the start, Chris got down to business. Each lesson emphasizes fundamental training combined with learning songs of my choosing. I have a diverse range of musical interests and Chris has accommodated them all. Most importantly, I find his lessons to be individualized based on my goals."
"As a teacher, Chris is very professional and his enthusiasm is contagious. He combines the perfect balance of discipline, skill development, and encouragement. He also carefully increases the challenge level of his lessons so I can steadily improve my drumming skills and realize measurable progress with success."
"Chris displays incredible patience with Blake and he easily adjusts his teaching to match my son's pace and ever changing mood. Chris keeps his lessons fun by allowing Blake to learn songs that he hears on the radio. Not only is he patient and fun, but he has always been and continues to be attentive and reliable. With every lesson Chris encourages Blake to learn and extend his knowledge with confidence. This is why I am willing to go out of my way and drive half an hour each direction for just one lesson with Chris."
